Volunteers
We are looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to join the ISSOTL 2012 conference team. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, to provide audio-visual support, to moderate sessions, to provide directions to conference attendees, and to provide general assistance as required.
As a student volunteer, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, and to network with scholars from around the world at an internationally recognized teaching and learning conference. In addition, you will receive:
- admission to all conference plenary sessions (Click here for more information);
- free meals, snacks, and refreshments during volunteer shifts;
- a letter of appreciation from the ISSOTL Conference Co-chairs for your teaching portfolio and/or CV; and,
- a volunteer t-shirt.
Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one 3 hour shift before or during the conference. In addition each volunteer will be expected to attend a one hour orientation session 2-3 weeks prior to the event.
Faculty or staff who wish to volunteer at the conference will need to register to participate in the conference itself.
If you have any questions, please contact Tracey Butler butlert@mcmaster.ca.
Thank you for helping to make this event a success!
