Airways Transit Service Limited

Airways Transit is offering a conference rate of $54 per person (taxes included), one way, on transportation to/from Pearson Airport (37% off regular fare). Airport shuttle service to/from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport is available at a negotiated conference rate of $160 one way (tolls and tax included).  Reservations must be booked by emailing Airways Transit contact Steve Traver  (stevet@airwaystransit.com).

Visa Information

Letter of Invitation/Letter Confirming Registration

International attendees may need a letter of “invitation” in order to obtain a visa to visit Canada. If you need a letter confirming your registration or confirming your invitation to present, this can be provided.  Letters will only be issued after you have been selected to present AND after you have registered and paid conference registration fees.  To request a letter, please send an email to iuconfs@indiana.edu with “Request for letter for visa application” as the subject header. The body of this email must include the following:

  • First (given) name
  • Last (family) name
  • Date and place of birth
  • Complete mailing address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • If possible, contact info for your representative at the Embassy

Once we have received your request, we will verify your registration and payment of fees and will issue a PDF signed letter.

We strongly advise you to start the visa application process as early as possible, and to submit your application at least 8 weeks in advance of your departure date. You are also encouraged to check the processing times for the mission responsible for processing your visa, as processing times vary. Kindly note: the event organizer will not be able to contact or intervene with Embassy or Consulate offices on your behalf.
