- November 21, 2011 – Call for Proposals posted.
- January 9, 2012 – Proposal Submissions open.
- March 15, 2012 – Registration open.
- March 25, 2012 – Deadline for proposal submissions. (*Note extension from original deadline of March 15)
- May 15, 2012 – Notifications sent to submitters.
- June 15, 2012 – Deadline for presenters to confirm their acceptance to present at conference.
- August 31, 2012 – Tentative program posted to website. (*Note: posted early, on August 20)
- September 21, 2012 – Early registration closes, “late” registrations still accepted. (*Note extension from original deadline of September 15)
- September 21, 2012 – Deadline for booking accommodation at the discounted rates.
- October 15, 2012 – Online registration closes. Additional registrations will be accepted on-site.
- October 22, 23 – International Collaborative Writing Groups workshop.
- October 24 – Pre-conference Workshops and CUR Conference.
- October 25-27 – ISSOTL 2012 Conference.
